The above imagine is jarring and inspiring for a number of reasons:
- The location--my kneejerk reaction is to assume there is little hope in city that was named after the greatest mendicant of the middle ages.
- The crowd is so large, it's not a trickle it's a flood.
- This is the 6th annual walk for life in San Fransisco, and it has gotten progressively bigger each year. The simple witness that there are other defenders will attract more and more individuals tapping into previously unknown reservoirs of courage.
- The crowd is so youthful, brimming with joy in what many would consider the belly of the beast.
